2. To conduct environment friendly skills, capacity building and income-generating programs, to uplift the standard of living of the women, indigenous and poor people of the Himalayan and Hilly regions.
3. To support implementation of alternative and environment friendly technologies through research and studies on environment pollution, biological diversity, promotion of environment friendly tourism, climate change, public health, and other environmental issues to raise awareness and standard of life of the local people.
4. To encourage and aware the local communities, to produce organic pesticides and organic fertilizers and assist in the promotion of sustainable energy and environment friendly agricultural practices.
